• To develop and promote area participation in running for lifetime fitness through running and walking activities and through major and minor non-profit competition race and fun run/walk events.
• To keep local running fun and safe.
• To represent and promote running and walking in the Jackson Michigan and surrounding area communities through education, leadership, programs and other services.
• To support JARDA, its charter and its members.
